We woke up early today in order to hike up Mt. Coot-Tha which was about 30 minutes away from where we were staying. We weren’t quite sure how we were going to get there, so we just walked up the road. There were cyclers, bikers, hikers, and cars all sharing the same two-lane road. We finally made it to the top of the mountain and walked up to the scenic viewing area. This is what we saw.
We then started hiking down the hill and once again could not find a bus stop once we reached the bottom of the mountain on the other side. Finally, after some right and wrong turns we found the one that would take us back home. Tonight we are going to a cricket match to see Brisbane vs. Hobart. Rumor has it that Hobart is undefeated and Brisbane has yet to win at all this season. Gotta cheer for our home team, Go Brisbane!
Now that I have caught up on my blogs, I hope to be able to provide you with more information in the coming posts. We have some free travel days this weekend and a group of us have yet to determine what it is that we are going to do. I look forward to keeping you updated next week!
