Our plan from the day before to go on the river boat city tour had flopped, so we were going to go on it today instead. I was able to take advantage of not having to be ready to go until 9:30 a.m. so I woke up early and worked on some of my blog entries, ran, showered, fixed some breakfast, and then went downstairs to meet the group for our river voyage. The river tour was great because we got to see sides of Brisbane that we normally would not have gotten to and we were able to learn some brief history about this beautiful city. Here are some pictures of some of the homes and buildings we saw.

We then walked downtown to grab some lunch and ran into a band playing some really awesome music on the streets. Check out Rattlehand here.
From here we ended our day by going to a local restaurant/brewery for dinner and a beer. They had some really awesome craft brews that were brewed on site. Check it out here.
P.S.
Never take having internet access for granted.
