Today we were visiting another university called
Unitech. Unitech is more similar to RMIT
in that it has a lot of technical majors.
We had a chance to hear from their directors of the architecture school
and the school of construction where we gained a lot of insight about the
construction industry in New Zealand and the day-to-day challenges that it
faces. By the time we got back where we
were staying, we were all exhausted. I
ended up falling asleep for a few hours, which felt great.
We had the evening off so we all headed towards downtown to
find some dinner. The goal in every city
that we go to is to find good cheap food.
In this part of the world, any meal under $20 is a cheap meal. We ended up stumbling upon an awesome Italian
restaurant named DaVinci’s and I had the best gnocchi bolognese I have ever
had.
